The key requirement is to quickly gain an overview of the interconnections within the system by analyzing a multitude of data / information and then to apply influence to stop undesirable developments and/or to take advantage of upcoming opportunities. A range of options for action, background information and analysis tools are available to achieve the desired outcomes.

Implementation and evaluation
The participants receive an email with an individual access link and perform the task on a desktop or laptop computer. Utopia provides, in addition to quantifiable measures of success, an automatic evaluation of the most important strategy characteristics. In other words, the report covers not only the result, but also describes in detail, how the participants approach and cope with complex problems and how they solve them.
Target groups
This task was designed as an interactive simulation game for individual participants or for groups. It can be used as an assessment and training tool for middle to upper management.
Duration and directions
The simulation lasts 85 minutes during which the participants go through several phases of decision taking, each of them followed by a feedback. In this way, they can recognize the consequences of their interventions and, where appropriate, strategically re-align. In addition, an automatically generated phase of failures and set-backs allows the observation of how the participants react to frustrating interim results.

The case study Utopia is available in German, French, English and Italian.
Prices
The individual price per automatic evaluation is CHF 150.-- plus VAT (7.7%).
